Pan Amsterdam 2008

pAn Amsterdam, the art and antiques fair for today, will take place for the 21st year. The fair presents an impressive selection of 16th-century to contemporary paintings and sculptures, antique and modern silver and glassware, jewellery, textile, furniture and clocks, art nouveau and art deco objects, prints, icons and photography, as well as Greek, Roman and Asiatic art, pre-Columbian and ethnographic art, ceramics and porcelain. The fair is organised by TEFAF, the world's leading international art and antiques fair. Art lovers, private collectors and professional buyers visit the fair. In 2006 pAn Amsterdam attracted 35,500 visitors.
The day before the opening of pAn Amsterdam the quality, authenticity and condition of the works on offer are checked by 18 specialist vetting committees, made up of some 80 experts.
